Hello from Plan-It ESG
A few words from our founder: Phil Parramore
I am proud to introduce Plan-It ESG, providing you with business support services that align with current thinking on Environmental, Social and Governance Matters.
The importance of understanding and evaluating an organisation’s ethical and sustainable impact is becoming increasingly important. In fact, employees, volunteers and customers are consciously making decisions about who to work for or who to buy products and services from based on ethics and sustainability factors. Don’t miss out on business and staff because you didn’t keep up with the trends!

With work experience stemming right back to 1982, and a Masters in Business Administration from Leeds University Business School, I am an approved Growth Mentor and a Project Management Practitioner. I am certificated in Business Enterprise, Dignity and Safeguarding and Equality and Diversity.
With close on 30 years of public sector operational, consultancy and project management experience, I formed GuideDotYou Change Solutions in 2013.
We use a model of personally delivered services and complemented by drawing from a trusted pool of associates. I am proud of wide-ranging personal achievements including:
- Leading Project Management Offices;
- Supporting Developing Business Strategies and Balanced Scorecards of Key Performance measures;
- Delivering Investor Grade Business Plans;
- Business Growth Mentoring for Start Ups and Growth Businesses;
- Delivery of Business Planning, Project Management and Staff Induction seminars and workshops;
- Supporting budding project managers, as a skills coach, as learners progressed through their Apprenticeship.
Whilst many of our services can be delivered for any sector, I have special interests in the areas of Renewable Energy provision and the provision affordable housing and community services.
I am Chair of the Board for Community Gateway Association, a not-for-profit community business, set up to meet the housing needs of people in Preston and the surrounding areas. A housing association providing high quality homes for people in need, Community Gateway Association is also about creating friendly communities, where people want to live. In that capacity I recently supported the Chief Executive and Executive Team to ensure a new long term corporate plan and supporting measures were signed off early in 2024; and are now being progressively implemented.
I am a close supporter of two Charities.
Local to me is The Intact Centre in Preston, which provides a range of much needed support services to the local community.
Nationally and internationally, I am a Patron of The Swallows Head and Neck Cancer Charity, which has a unique blend of services and partnerships to support patients and carers, pre-, during and post treatment.
I am also a member of the Creative Communities Group, with its founding at the University of Central Lancashire and now evolved into a model of best practice for active citizenship and lifelong learning on a global level.
Personally, I enjoy spending quality time with my wife, Stephanie, our grown-up children, and our grandson. Apparently I am also grandad to two dogs and six cats! I keep in regular touch and meet with friends I have known since my schooldays. I like listening to almost any type of music, following sport, walking amongst nature and eating out.
Plan-It ESG is the next stage of our own journey. Through our excellent range of services, provided personally and through partners, we look forward to supporting you and other ambitious organisations as you transverse through the local and global changes and challenges we all face.
